Billing and Cancelation PolicySubscription Start and Renewal Dates Your subscription starts on the calendar day you register for an account and successfully enter a valid payment method. The renewal date for a monthly subscription is same numerical calendar day on each successive month. For example, a monthly subscription starting on October 2nd will renew on November 2nd and the second day of each successive month. The renewal date for a yearly subscription is the same day and month on each successive year. For example, a yearly subscription starting on January 3rd, will renew on January 3rd of each successive year.Free Trials This section only applies to subscriptions that include a free trial period. If your subscription includes a free trial period, you will not be charged until the stated trial period ends. If you cancel your subscription anytime before the trial period ends, your account access will end and you will not be charged. Jonathan Banner joins an expedition with American soldiers searching for the source of the Mississippi River. They believe it could serve as the natural border between the U.S. and Canada, embarking on a dangerous journey to uncover its secrets.

S01E01 Battle of the Mississippi

In 1817, Falcon and Banner are assigned to Fort Gannon to stop a group of whiskey traders from sabotaging the local fur trade. Tensions rise when the traders make the first move, attacking and injuring a preacher in the process.

S01E03 Voice in the Wilderness

Jonathan Banner and Pierre Falcon escort Peter Swayze, a member of the Hudson Bay Company's Board of Directors, back to the fort. While he is eventually meant to replace the current owner of the company, Swayze is ignorant and childish. During a trade with the Ojibwe tribe, the factor negotiates a leadership dispute between Chief Orobayish and his son Quayquay. Swayze accidentally insults Quayquay, leading to a fight.

S01E05 Gentleman'Adventure

Jonathan Banner and Pierre Falcon are sent to exhume the corpse of Moore and bring it back to their fort. They are accompanied by Kendricks, the man who killed and buried Moore. As they travel, they discover inconsistencies in Kendricks' story about Moore.

S01E06 MyJourney

Jonathan Banner and Pierre Falcon are sent on a mission with the British military, led by Captain Malton, who immediately suspects Banner of mutiny. Malton sends the Native American guides away violently, believing them to be in league with Banner.

S01E07 Martinet

The lovely Maggie MacGregor resists her arranged marriage to the old frontiersman Cluny, a match coordinated by her father. It is common knowledge that Maggie and young Colin Shaw are in love. On the eve of their wedding, Shaw makes a scene at the fort's tavern, causing a scandal. The next day, Cluny is shot and paralyzed. While everybody suspects Shaw, Jonathan Banner and Pierre Falcon investigate the event and discover that it was a disgruntled Native American. Cluny decides to marry his true love, Oussita, leaving Maggie free to marry Shaw.

S01E10 Old Dog

Banner finds himself caught in a romantic quadrangle involving Colin Shaw, who is in love with Maggie MacGregor, despite her engagement to Maitland, an ambitious Hudson's Bay factor. Meanwhile, Jack Cherry is determined to marry Maggie, complicating matters further.

S01E12 Civilization

Jonathan Banner discovers American soldiers on an expedition to find the source of the Mississippi River, which they hope is the natural border between the U.S. and Canada. Disappointed it is not, a fight ensues over what should be the border, but Banner's party and the soldiers settle their differences.

S01E16 The Watch

Jonathan Banner and Pierre Falcon are sent on a special assignment from Fort Gannon to meet with Standing Bear. When the arrive, they meet Standing Bear's adopted daughter, blonde-haired blue-eyed Lucy Shepherd, who was orphaned at a young age and has grown up in the tribe, knowing nothing else.

S01E18 Blue-Eyed Squaw

At Fort King, Banner and Falcon arrive to find a barricade of Indians. White Buffalo, the chief's son, was killed, and the accused murderer is a young woman, a former dance hall girl. She reveals her past with White Buffalo during the trial.

S01E20 An Eye for an Eye

McLeod comes to Banner with a strange request: come to his cabin and shoot a witch with a silver bullet. When Banner refuses, McLeod threatens to go to the fort's tavern and recruit a barfly to accomplish the deed. Banner and Falcon reluctantly agree to investigate and learn that the "witch" who is supposedly hexing McLeod's traps is actually his beautiful daughter.

S01E22 MacLeod'Witch

When a British patrol is ambushed by a tribe of Indians, their inexperienced drummer boys flee into the woods. Disobeying orders, Banner leads a small group of Hudson's Bay men on a dangerous rescue mission to save the frightened boys.

S01E23 The Coward

Montgomery Velvet, a notorious duelist with a deadly reputation, arrives at the fort determined to challenge Jonathan Banner to a duel. He openly provokes Banner in front of Pierre Falcon, the factor Balfour, and his daughter Joanna, escalating tensions.

S01E24 The Duel

A strong-willed young woman comes to Fort Gannon in search of her fiancee, Harry Sinclair, whom she learns is an alcoholic accused of cowardice. She refuses to believe that her betrothed is past redemption and begs Jonathan to help him recover. When Sinclair's housemate convinces him to take one last drink, their efforts are nearly thwarted.

S01E25 BoFriends

While the fort's commander is away, a young martinet sentences a Shoshone Indian to death based on perjured testimony. Banner tries to delay the execution of the sentence until he can conduct an informal investigation of the crime, which causes the acting commander to arrest him for insubordination.

S01E26 Retribution

Violent outlaw Jingo arrives at the fort, and Pierre Falcon recognizes him as his former partner, thought dead. Falcon recalls their past friendship and betrayal. Determined to kill Jingo, Falcon is stopped by Banner, who helps him cool down.

S01E28 Partners

Banner has a crisis of conscience after he and Falcon wipe out an attacking Cree war party that consisted only of boys. He travels to the Cree Indian camp in hopes of ending the ceaseless bloodshed. His hopes are dashed when the tribesmen capture him and bind him to a stake.

S01E29 The Crees

Banner, Falcon, and three other white men are captured by the Cree Indians. Chief Blood believes one of them is responsible for kidnapping and murdering his daughter. The group must figure out how to prove their innocence and survive.

S01E31 Five AgainSunrise

Set during the rugged fur-trading days in what would eventually become Canada, the story unfolds through the perspective of the Hudson's Bay Company, capturing the harsh realities of frontier life, intense rivalries, and the challenges of survival in the wilderness.

S01E32 Jury of HiPeers

Banner and Falcon try to open trade with Spotted Elk and his Northern Cheyenne tribe, but the negotiations prove difficult when a young trapper insists on making unwanted advances to the Indian chief's lovely daughter. When the Cheyenne capture the trapper and take him back to their camp to be burned at the stake, Banner must take action to save his troublesome companion.
